What Is A Structural Mark-Up?

A structural mark-up is a critical review of your building’s design plan to ensure that your drawings are structurally sound, that every detail is accounted for, and that every aspect of your design and build will meet the Ontario Building Code and receive permits to complete the work.

Often, with the construction of open concept spaces and more intricate designs, a structural engineer will be required, by the municipality where the project is taking place, to review the project and approve the design.

At Keller Engineering Engineers, we typically provide structural mark-ups without visiting the site, and one of our professional engineers, who is licensed by one of the 12 licensing bodies in Canada, will review the project and stamp the drawings.
